Are you interested in how this surgery is run?
Each surgery must have a representative group of patients (called a PPG) who meet regularly to discuss practice issues and patient experience to help improve the service. It meets to: –
- Consult with practice staff to discuss topics of mutual interest.
- Ensure that patients are involved in the services they receive.
- Support health awareness and patient education, and
- Discuss other topics which are not individual-specific.
It is not an arduous task but allows you to understand better how a GP practice operates and allows you to have a say on how the practice performs.
