Grasmere Surgery PPG – Monthly Meeting Minutes

- Welcome and Introductions
Sue & Lynne welcomed everyone

- Updates from GP Practice Staff
Sue and Lynne provided updates:
- Local chemists will eventually stop managing repeat prescriptions; responsibility will transfer to the surgery
- Updates were given on telephone and text messaging systems wordings
- Sue will arrange a Community Link Worker to attend a future meeting to provide information on activities available in the Leigh area
- Positive working relationships with two other surgeries within the hospital were discussed
- Sue will look to putting new info onto TV in surgery waiting room
- Praise given to surgery for receptionist’s abilities.
- Sue showed positive feedback slips received from patients showing the high quality of patient confidence in surgeries implementation of patient journeys.
- Discussion about out of hrs appointments & how surgery doctors sees extra appointments daily.
